Audemars Piguet

Audemars Piguet was founded by two young and ambitious watchmakers Louis Audemars and Edward Auguste Piguet. In 1875 their workshop was established in the Vallée de Joux, one of the centres of high-end Swiss watchmaking. The natural resources of this Genevan region enabled the evolution and flourishing of the watch industry.

Audemars and Piguet believed in the power of the Valley’s network of artisanship. From this area, they embarked on their journey to create unique and intricate timepieces by hand during the rise of industrialisation.

Their craft of creating exquisite timepieces, which are carefully assembled and finished by hand, has remained the beating heart of Audemars Piguet ever since. A selection of their iconic pieces includes the Royal Oak, which is a watch with a legacy on its own.
